Cristiano Ronaldo has signed for Juventus, with the Italian giants confirming the move via their official Twitter account.

But Ronaldo remained to true to his word this time around. After a meeting with Real president Florentino Perez - who was adamant that no long drawn out saga should come of the whole affair - Ronaldo decided to move on to another challenge.

It's an end of an era - and in the nine years he spent at Madrid, the Portugal international amassed a pretty attractive looking stat record.

In the 438 games he played for Los Blancos, Ronaldo scored a ridiculous 450 goals, so is now their all-time top-scorer. He also picked up some trophies along the way.

When you top that off with his 119 assists - also a club record - you begin to appreciate just how unbelievable Ronaldo was for Real.

Of course no one will forget the likes of Ferenc Puskás, Raul and Alfredo Di Stéfano - but it's fair to assume that now Ronaldo must be crowned Real's greatest ever player. No one likes close, the almost 150 goals between Ronaldo and club's second top scorer Raul testament to that.

Ronaldo has moved to Juventus for a reported fee of £99.2m, but everyone will remember the extraordinary impact he's had at Madrid.

Who do you think will come as Ronaldo's replacement - Kylian Mbappé or even former Barcelona man Neymar? Let us know your thoughts in the comments section.
