A Liverpool fan's tweet about Divock Origi's goals titled 'The Hits' has gone viral following another key goal last night.

Origi scored the final equaliser for Liverpool for his second of the game in their thrilling 5-5 draw against Arsenal in the Carabao Cup last night.

The Belgian scored a lovely volley from a Neco Williams cross to take the game to penalties and Liverpool prevailed 5-4.


A Liverpool fan decided to tweet all the times that Origi has scored a vital goal for Jurgen Klopp's side and it shows he does have a knack for these things.



The first time it occurred was a winner in the Merseyside Derby in December last year.

Jordan Pickford failed to catch a ball in the final minute of the game and Origi pounced to score the winner.

Many Liverpool fans enjoyed the at time outcast scoring such a crucial goal but little did they know it was the beginning of a career renaissance.

His next crucial strike came in a game against Newcastle United, with his 86th minute strike giving Liverpool a 3-2 victory at St. James Park to keep close to league leaders Manchester City.

Three days later however, came the infamous Barcelona result.

Liverpool had lost 3-0 at the Nou Camp and looked destined to go out of the Champions League at the semi-final stage.

But 'The Reds' completed an astonishing 4-0 comeback in the second leg with Origi scoring a brace with the second being the winner.

The 24-year-old was starting to become a cult hero at Anfield by this stage.

A month later, he scored Liverpool's second goal in their Champions League Final victory over Tottenham.

Within the space of a year Origi had gone from outcast to Champions League winner.

He now has a reputation as one of the most clutch players in the world and teams will fear when he comes up against them.

It's a stark contrast to the beginning of last season when he was tipped with a loan move to at the time Premier League side Huddersfield.

Jurgen Klopp will be happy to have the Belgian in his ranks for this season's title charge.
