Wilfried Zaha has reportedly shot back at a Chelsea fan with a 'your mum' joke after being mocked for his performance at the weekend.

Chelsea defeated Zaha's Crystal Palace 2-0 at the weekend and a standout player was young Chelsea right back Reece James.

The 19-year-old made his Premier League debut and performed admirably at right-back, managing to keep Zaha quiet.

Now a video has emerged of Chelsea fans mocking Zaha who fires back with a classic 'your mum' joke.

A Chelsea fan is heard shouting 'Reece James in the pocket' to which the Ivorian fires back with 'I had your fu**ing mum in my pocket'.

The rapid fire response from the Ivorian with a 'your mum' joke had many fans on Twitter roaring with laughter.

It's no shame in failing to get the better of James who is currently having a breakout season under Frank Lampard.

The teenager impressed at Wigan Athletic on loan last season and Lampard has slowly integrated him into the first team squad this season.

He scored Chelsea's equaliser in their thrilling 4-4 draw with Ajax in the Champions League last week.

His manager is also very pleased with his development and discussed the call to pick him over club captain Cesar Azpilicueta on Saturday afternoon.

Per The Metro, the 41-year-old explained to BT Sport:

"I am proud and I believe in them and with Reece as well.

"Azpi is our captain I spoke to him before the game, he's a great leader for the club and so important.

"I just felt we could get Reece some minutes and he's deserved them with the way he's trained and played."

He also identified the threat that Zaha would have been in the game.

"With Zaha I thought what better test? Every team has players that can hurt you on the counter attack and he's one of the best.

"I thought could we hurt them the other way and make him run back more than forwards.

"I've got trust in Reece defensively. It was a really impressive game from him and he'll get much better."
