Well, this is one FIFA 19 penalty shootout that the player -- and, for that matter, anyone watching it -- will never forget.

FIFA 19 hasn't been everyone's cup of tea. But let's be honest, though: when is FIFA perfect for anyone?

Penalty shootouts, on the other hand, are always a tense moment for either player. You step up, take a shot, the 'keeper saves it and you're awarded a corner.

Wait, what?

Yup, that's exactly what happened to Reddit user WeedScaper when he was in the middle of a penalty shootout.

Hilariously, the player was able to take the corner and actually scored from it.

Even after watching it multiple times, it's still one of the most baffling moments in FIFA 19 to date. Actually, it's probably on the same level of absurdity as a goalkeeper glitch that a Reddit user posted online last month.

"I'm so impressed that you managed to score that, despite the fixed camera angle," one user wrote.

Another said: "How did he even know what was happening? I'd probably either quit or run right out of bounds on accident."

A third added: "The way it's filmed with the phone, I'm guessing this was a replay camera where you can choose the angle to watch from. Otherwise, how would he know to start filming during his penalty shot?"





FIFA 19 is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
