France staged a miraculous comeback in tonight's UEFA Nations League Semi-Final against Belgium, winning the match 3-2.
They fell behind after 37 minutes, with Atlético Madrid fullback Yannick Carrasco firing a lovely, low strike to Hugo Lloris' left and into the back of the net.

This lead was quickly doubled courtesy of Roberto Martínez's former striker at Everton Romelu Lukaku. The Chelsea number 9 turned his defender superbly before rifling the ball home into the top right hand corner to give The Red Devils a comfortable lead heading into the break.
But despite this difficult deficit, Les Bleus were not in the mood for losing and got one back with less than half an hour to play through Karim Benzema, who finished brilliantly past Thibaut Courtois after a magnificent pirouette.
And just seven minutes later, the French were level, this time courtesy of a brilliantly dispatched Kylian Mbappé spotkick after Antoine Griezmann was upended in the box.

Their hard work looked like it was going to count for nothing three minutes from time after Lukaku got himself on the scoresheet once again. However, after a VAR review, the goal was deemed to be offside and the scores remained level heading into the final few minutes.
Buoyed by this decision, France went on the attack and clinched a winner in the first minute of added time. This was courtesy of AC Milan left back Theo Hernández, whose magnificent, rasping drive was worthy of winning any game, let alone a semi-final of that magnitude.

The win secures France's passage to this Sunday's final against Spain at the San Siro. Meanwhile it's the same old story for Belgium, who continue to fall short on the big stage.
