Former teammate Nani has told ESPN that Cristiano Ronaldo will probably join the MLS eventually in his career. Ronaldo is currently at Italian giants, Juventus.
Nani and Cristiano Ronaldo were close friends and teammates for Manchester United between 2007 and 2009 while also playing together for the Portuguese National Team since. The two have combined for two Premier League titles, the UEFA Champions League and a European Championship in 2016.
The current Orlando City winger told ESPN:
"A couple of years ago, he told me that he will probably end up in America. It's not 100 percent but probably. There is a chance."
Ronaldo is currently at Italian side, Juventus after joining them in Summer of 2018 from Real Madrid. The former Madridista has been linkled with leaving Juventus, as per Pietro Balzano of PBP Calcio.

Nani went on to talk about the the competitive side of the MLS, believing even though the League still needs to grow, it is still already very competitive and is really enjoying his time playing for Orlando.
It is a great league, Obviously there are points where we must improve as a league, even in the quality of the players. Here you have fantastic clubs, well organised with fantastic conditions, great coaches, great players. You see every season improving."
