An Arsenal fan has claimed that former star Thierry Henry is not the best player to have ever graced the Premier League, arguing that the likes of Eric Cantona and Gianfranco Zola were better.

The YouTuber Lee Gunner, whose channel has over 60,000 subscribers, told Terry Flewers, host of The Football Terrace, that Henry was not at the top of his rankings of the Premier League's greatest ever players and that another legend of Highbury was better.

"I disagree with you," he told Flewers after the latter claimed Cristiano Ronaldo was close to usurping Henry in his own, personal standings. "It's Bergkamp."

"How?" an outraged Flewers asked.

"What do you mean 'how'?" Lee Gunner laughed. "You've watched Bergkamp. I put Eric Cantona above Henry as well. I did a top 3, someone asked me on a Q&A months and months ago.

I think I put Zola above Henry. Don't get it twisted, I love Thierry Henry. That guy's given me some of the best moments of my life watching football. But I like a player... which is why I probably like Messi... because they make it effortless. It's just effortless. They're always 10 levels ahead of everyone. They can see the whole picture before the ball comes to their feet.

Thierry Henry was unreal man, don't get it twisted, but Bergkamp for me... the best footballer I've ever seen at this football club."

Unsurprisingly, Lee Gunner's comments sparked a huge reaction on social media.

"I agree with Lee most of the time but this?" one user asked. "Well this is his opinion. Henry is the goat and it's not even close! My opinion!"

"I would even put Rooney above Henry," another commented. "Giggs as well. Aguero. Drogba. Henry was very good. But best... not for me either."

"I'm literally shaking my head," tweeted a raging Arsenal fan.

Let's look at the statistics when it comes to Lee Gunner's top three Premier League players of all time.

Gianfranco Zola played 311 times for Chelsea between 1997 and 2003, scoring 80 goals. The Italian won two FA Cups, a League Cup, a European Cup Winners' Cup and a European Super Cup whilst at Stamford Bridge, as well as a place in the English Football Hall of Fame in 2006.

Meanwhile Eric Cantona put on the red shirt of Manchester United on on 185 occasions between 1992 and 1997 and scored 82 goals. He was considered to be the catalyst for The Red Devils' success in the early-to-mid 1990s, winning four Premier League titles and two FA Cups.

Lee Gunner's GOAT, Dennis Bergkamp, also enjoyed a very successful stint in England. Betwee 1995 and 2006, the Dutchman made 423 appearances for The Gunners, scoring 120 goals and winning three Premier League titles and four FA Cups.

Henry, on the other hand, scored 226 goals for Arsenal in 370 games, lifting two Premier Leagues and two FA Cups.

So, when it comes to honours, it's fair to say it's a pretty close call.
