Alexis Sánchez could be about to lock horns with his manager Simone Inzaghi after the Chilean posted a cryptic criticism of his playing time on Instagram.
The 32 year old moved to the San Siro on a permanent basis in 2020 and was part of the side that lifted Serie A earlier this year.
However, since Inzaghi's took charge of the Italian giants in the summer, Sánchez has had very few opportunities to impress, making just 4 appearances in all competitions so far this season.
This prompted the former Arsenal and Manchester United man to take to Instagram just a few minutes after Inter's 2-1 win against Sassuolo on Saturday, in which Sánchez was an unused substitute.

The post showed a lone Ferrari covered in sand and was captioned: "Realise that you can be worth a lot but if you are in the wrong place, you are not going to shine".
The post has since been deleted.
Since leaving The Gunners in 2018, Sánchez has struggled to recapture the form that saw him nominated for the Ballon d'Or in 2015.

He netted just five times in two years at Old Trafford and fell out of favour with both José Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjær before heading to Italy on loan.
Could this be the start of something similar with Inzaghi?
We shall have to wait and see.
