Gameweek 4 provided a fairly tough looking fixture list from a fantasy football perspective, with many undoubtably steering towards a certain Cristiano Ronaldo who bagged a brace on his second debut for Manchester United.

Top of the pile is Trent Alexander-Arnold, who is proving to be just as valuable as more expensive options in midfield and attack.

The 22-year-old has proved himself to be a must-have in defence with Liverpool registering three clean sheets so far, while his potential for attacking returns has led to two double-digit hauls in the opening four Gameweeks.

Ferran Torres (Manchester United)

Ferran Torres is very hard to overlook at the moment, with the Spaniard playing out of position as a forward for a Manchester City side that have already scored an impressive 11 goals this season.

With Kevin De Bruyne and Phil Foden back, the creativity in the Citizens team is further increased, making Torres an even better asset.

Price: £7.2m

Marcal (Wolverhampton Wanderers)

Marcal returned 13 points last time out due to registering two assists alongside the clean sheet and that could signal further attacking returns down the line.

At the prices available, it's difficult to turn down Marcal, especially given Wolverhampton Wanderers' form and winnable upcoming fixtures.

Price: £4.6m

Diogo Jota (Liverpool)

Diogo Jota is considerably cheaper than Mohamed Salah or Sadio Mane, but is seeing the same amount of playing time.

When taking into account some of the other options around his price tag, it's a surprise to see that only 20.7 per cent of FPL players have Jota in their side.

Andros Townsend (Everton)
