After a thrilling start to the 2021/22 Fantasy Premier League season, attention now turns to the fourth gameweek.
Following the international break and after a high-scoring Gameweek 3, managers will be keen to enhance their chances of FPL glory heading into this weekend’s fixtures.
The international break has provided a pause to domestic proceedings and presented the opportunity to assess fantasy football teams.
Gameweek 4 provides a fairly tough looking fixture list from a fantasy football perspective, with many undoubtably steering towards a certain five-time Ballon d'Or winner.
So, with the new week upon us, we take a look at some of the best stars to include in your squad.
Cristiano Ronaldo (Manchester United)
Following Manchester United’s stunning acquisition of Cristiano Ronaldo, fantasy football managers will be keen to add the Portuguese phenomenon to their line-ups.
Advert
So far, more than a million players have added the 36-year-old superstar, with many moving funds around to accommodate the £12.5m-rated forward.
And with the Red Devils hosting Newcastle United at home on Saturday, it will be no surprise to see that number double by the deadline.
Price: £12.5m
Ferran Torres (Manchester City)
Manchester City’s failed pursuit of a striker following Sergio Aguero’s departure this summer has seen Ferran Torres playing in the middle of the front line.
Advert
And on the basis that Torres costs just £7.1m and is being listed as a midfielder, how can you turn down the option of bringing in the Spaniard?
Price: £7.1m
Michail Antonio (West Ham United)
Michail Antonio became only the third player in Premier League history, after Thierry Henry and Didier Drogba, to be directly involved in seven goals in a team's opening three games.
Advert
When combined with his first two performances, the 31-year-old remains some way ahead of the other league forwards - his total of 40 points for the Hammers is only challenged by Mohamed Salah's 30 for Liverpool. Leave him out at your own peril.
Price: £7.9m
Demarai Gray (Everton)
Demarai Gray has been in sizzling form for Everton and has a 100 per cent goal conversion rate - two goals from two shots.
Advert
The best thing about Gray is how much of a bargain he is, which frees up budgets to make moves for the likes of Ronaldo or Romelu Lukaku.
Price: £5.6m
Pascal Gross (Brighton & Hove Albion)
Pascal Gross has created more chances than any other Premier League midfielder so far this season - creating 2.33 clear goal scoring opportunities per 90 mins played.
Advert
Intriguingly, the German has taken 11 of his side's 13 corners, including the delivery from which defensive stalwart Shane Duffy scored his goal against Watford last time out.
Price: £6.0m
