Some Of Fantasy Football's Best XI Might Surprise You

Some Of Fantasy Football's Best XI Might Surprise You

A team made up of the best points scorers in every season of Fantasy Football somehow includes Joleon Lescott.

Who doesn't love a bit of Fantasy Football, when it's going right anyway, but do you know which players would have made up the best team on the game of all time? Well somehow Joleon Lescott actually makes it!

If Fantasy Football was anything like the real thing then my team would likely have been in the relegation zone for most of the season and I'd have been sacked quite some time ago.

Check out the impressive FIFA all-time XI:

Whether it's the overall league, the league at work, my head-to-head league or even my draft team it's been a truly shocking season for Sidler Wanderers, I mean I've never been great at it but this year has been truly horrific.

I was lucky enough to have an upturn in fortune last weekend. With so few games on I played my 'free hit' and stacked my team with as many Liverpool players as possible including, obviously, Mo Salah as captain.

Speaking of the Egyptian. He's already cemented his place in the best team of all time, as per one user on Reddit, and is on his way to becoming the first player to score more than 300 points in a Fantasy Football season. That's real players, even I've reached 300 points!

There's some huge surprises in there and of course Lescott, as well as Brad Friedel, would jump out as the biggest but his season for Everton in the 2007/08 campaign saw him play all 38 games, score eight, set up three and keep 14 clean sheets, really impressive stuff.

If only the next most impressive thing he'd done hadn't been accidentally sending a picture of a car to Twitter then he'd have been fine.

There's some utterly sensational seasons in there, Lampard in 09/10, Ronaldo in 07/08, Bale in 12/13, Suarez in 13/14 too, not to underestimate the others of course, but the fact that Salah could go past all of them is incredible.

The Egyptian has scored more than eight and a half points per game week for the first 31 game weeks so if he keeps that up he'd be on around 326 points at the end of the season.

It's no wonder I'm not doing well when I've barely had him in my team, I'm and idiot!
