But as far as penalty misses go, it's fair to say that Giresunspor player Dodo produced the worst ever spot-kick in football history.

He's become a viral sensation for all the wrong reasons, while the howler of a penalty has also led many to believe he was match fixing.

The miss in the 53rd minute proved decisive, as Fenerbahce went on to win 2-1 - with a successfully converted 94th minute penalty from Fernandão giving the Turkish Super Lig giants a last-gasp win.

As for Dodo, despite being a striker, he has failed to score a single goal in 19 appearances. The shambles of a penalty offers an insight as to why he's having such difficulty in front of goal.
