Former Manchester United striker Robin van Persie has spent more time time on the Old Trafford surface than Memphis Depay this season, following his 90 minute appearance for Fenerbache last week.
His £25 million move from PSV Eindhoven in 2015 was touted as a quality piece of business. but It's turned out that his move to Manchester United has become somewhat of a nightmare.
Despite his lack of game time under Jose Mourinho, Depay's time in the national squad of late has given the winger a platform to impress his manager, and maybe more importantly, other managers interested in his services.
