For some Liverpool fans it was even more difficult to get to Kyiv after a bunch of cancelled flights but no matter what happened a lot of fans paid a lot of money to get out to Ukraine, no one deserved this terrible view.
Every football final now seems to go through the same problems, it's always too expensive for the fans and they rarely have enough tickets going to them either. The Champions League final has been no exception.
Getting to Kyiv from Liverpool or Madrid isn't the easiest or cheapest journey at the best of times but in the lead up to tonight's European football showcase there has been stories of accomodation cancelling on fans just to up the price.

On Friday several flights were cancelled from Liverpool leaving thousands of fans having to make different plans at the last minute and each side was only given around 16,000 tickets for their fans.
So whoever made it to Kyiv to watch the highly anticipated match up between Jurgen Klopp's adventurous side and Zinedine Zidane's equally attacking line up had already gone through a lot. So imagine finding your seat and checking out this view:
The most expensive tickets at the 70,000-capacity NSC Olimpiyskiy Stadium were a whopping £348, although no doubt they were going for a tad more than that from unofficial outlets, and restricted view seats were as little as £48.

Even at nearly 50 quid that's pretty steep for a view of less than half of the pitch, never mind the price of flights and staying in Kyiv for the night. You'd be hoping all the action was taking place in that one half.
They'll be some Liverpool fans wishing they hadn't even had seen that much of the ground and in fact imagine if you were a fan of the Reds and all you'd seen all game were the three goals from Zidane's side including Loris Karius' incredible pair of errors.
