Ryan Giggs' Final Team Talk As Manchester United Interim Manager Is Atrocious

It's genuinely real.

Ryan Giggs' final team talk as Manchester United interim manager has been doing the rounds and it's very uninspiring.

The clip is from ITV's 'Life of Ryan: Caretaker Manager' documentary that aired in 2014 and offered a behind-the-scenes look at the United legend's short-term stint in charge at Old Trafford following the sacking of David Moyes.

With Giggs getting his first managerial gig by taking the Wales national team job, it's resurfaced again and doesn't exactly show the 44-year old in the best light.

Granted, it was the final game of the season and there wasn't really anything for United to play for - but it would appear motivating isn't one of Giggs' best traits.

The team meeting ahead of the trip to Southampton was incredibly underwhelming and you'd do well to not fall asleep watching it.

Starting with the tactics, he said:

"Right, the team today, is going to have to work hard because these [Saints] work their bollocks off and they're good at home.

But the team that we've got, we've got experience, we've got pace, we've got players who are comfortable on the ball. They do die at the end, so subs you might come on and win the game. So concentrate and watch the game.

Giggs then attempts to issue a rallying cry to get the team to end the season on a high.

"It's the last game of the season - we want to end on a high," he adds.

"We want to give our fans something to shout about. Fucking City or Liverpool are going to win the league...erm, give our fans something to shout about.

"It's been a frustrating season, but it's a good game to play in and one that I'm looking forward to because of the exciting players we've got on the pitch, okay?"

It's worth pointing out that this wouldn't have been the last time Giggs would have spoken to the players before the game as it was a team meeting and not a pre-match talk.

However, with his appointment greeted by plenty of animosity by Wales supporters and many questioning his commitment given that he often didn't play in friendlies for his country, this clip won't make him any popular.
