Nobody Can Believe Anthony Martial Missed An Open Goal Against Bournemouth

Anthony Martial produced an absolute howler of a miss against Bournemouth at Old Trafford tonight.

Manchester United bounced back to winning ways, with a Romelu Lukaku goal enough for the victory. But it really ought to have been more comfortable, given that Martial missed an open goal against the Cherries.

The Frenchman, usually so calm in front of goal, saw the ball drop to him around six yards out after Lukaku's effort was pushed into his path.

It was an absolutely golden opportunity for a normally deadly finisher but he somehow skied the ball over the bar. It's undoubtedly one of the worst misses you'll see all season.

Martial has scored eight goals this season and you'd always back him to put away chances like that, but he just proved that the best are guilty of missing open goals.
