Fantasy football managers up and down the Premier League must have been shaking their heads this afternoon to see that Manchester City scored twice but Sergio Aguero wasn't involved in either. And it might be time to transfer him out if his elbow against West Ham is deemed bad enough for a ban.
Aguero's form this season has made it seem like he wouldn't go a game all season without scoring and when City took an early two goal lead against the Hammers you'd have expected him to be on the scoresheet or at least add his name to it later on.
Alas that wasn't to be as Pep Guardiola's side struggled to see off Slaven Bilic's men and they came back into the game with a goal of their own before Raheem Sterling's late second goal sealed a 3-1 win. Aguero's biggest contribution ended up being a controversial elbow that could result in a retrospective three game ban for the player. What do you think?
If Aguero does get a ban then that would take him out of the first meeting between Pep Guardiola and Jose Mourinho since the pair joined City and United respectively. And it looks like the Twittersphere think the Argentinian might be out of that match:
