England's Euro 2016 campaign was a laugh, wasn't it? Four goals scored in four matches, Harry Kane taking corners, Raheem Sterling aimlessly running into full backs, Joe Hart singing the national anthem dead loud and pushing shots into his own net. It was like watching an episode of 'Fawlty Towers' unravel on a football pitch. And, just to complete the farce, Gary Neville boarded the wrong bus after the round of 16 game with Iceland, on Monday.
After the Three Lions tamely whimpered out of the European Championships to international giants Iceland, Neville, who was one of Roy Hodgson's coaching team during his ill fated stint as England manager, left the interview zone and, rather than hop aboard the England team coach, the former Manchester United captain waltzed onto Iceland's bus, instead.
Fair play, though, who would have wanted to get on the England coach while Joe Hart shouted a lot and Jack Wilshere attempted to smuggle as many packets of cigs into that shite lion teddy the players had to carry round with them, during the tournament?
