Jack Grealish Officially Had The Worst Premier League Season Ever

One terrible season!

Remember that time that Jack Grealish was a really promising player who thought by picking England as his international team he'd be going to the Euros this summer, well he is in France just at the Under 20s Toulon Tournament. The Aston Villa winger hasn't had the best of years at all.

Grealish started the season by being pictured unconscious on the streets of Tenerife before then being in trouble again after being videoed being drunk just hours after a 4-0 loss to Everton in November. In the meantime he also declared himself for England instead of Ireland who he'd played under 21s for.

Those have not been the end of his problems though and he's struggled to get into a very poor Aston Villa side for much of the season having played only 16 times in the league, seven of those coming as a substitute, and scoring just once.

And it's even worse for the 20 year old as in all of his 16 appearances he's been involved in zero points for Villa, a new Premier League record. Destroying the previous record held by Sunderland's Sean Thornton in the 2002/03 season whose zero points came from 10 games.

The Villains became the second worst side in Premier League history this season beating Derby County's lowly 11 points record by six points as they dropped from the Premier League for the first time.

Grealish was part of no winning sides in the entire league campaign and it's almost impressive that he's the only player in the top six for games played without winning a point considering the team lost 26 times, only picking up points in eight draws and three wins.

The Solihull born winger will be hoping for a better time of it on under 21s duty this summer.
