Antoine Griezmann has been a revelation at the European Championships this summer.

As well as topping the tournaments scoring charts with six goals, the French international has helped his national side to the final after bagging twice against Germany last night.

But it was very different story two and a half years ago.

Antoine Grizemann was playing at Real Sociedad when Fulham, who were in the Premier League at the time, enquired about the 23-year-old forward.

Price? - The Spanish side quote £12 million for Griezmann.

Fulham turned down the chance to sign Griezmann in favour of spending £12 million on Olympiacos striker Kostas Mitroglou.

No, really.

Mitroglou managed just three appearances for Fulham and didn't even manage a single goal for The Cottagers.

So. Much. Regret.
