Liverpool Fans Are Not Happy With Sky Sports’ Programme Dedicated To Steven Gerrard

Liverpool fans won't happy to find out that Sky Sports have been showing a 'Gerrard Slips' programme recently.

Steven Gerrard slipping to allow Demba Ba in to fire home and kill Liverpool's hopes of an English Premier League title back in 2014 is one of the more devastating memories for supporters in recent times.

And it's certainly a moment they won't want to relive.

But Sky Sports obviously recognise how much Liverpool's rivals enjoyed it - so they've created a 10-minute 'Gerrard Slips' programme which has been going out this week:

Football Gold? We're not so sure a famous slip should go down as football gold.

But it will certainly be remembered. Liverpool were on course to win the Premier League title two years ago, but the 2-0 defeat to Chelsea in that game handed the advantage to Manchester City and they went on to lift the trophy.

That was thought to be Gerrard's chance to finally win a league title so the way he contributed to Liverpool missing out was particularly excruciating.
