If you're going to come a Roy Keane press conference armed with a question you better be ready for the backlash if he's not happy with it. One Irish journalist found out the hard way when he asked the Republic of Ireland assistant manager a question about one of the players.
The former Manchester United captain was asked what advice he'd give to James McCarthy on his future as Ronald Koeman "doesn't fancy" the player. However Keane was far from convinced that this was the case brutally destroying the journalists question and one has to assume his confidence as well:

"Do your homework," might be the most beautiful putdown we've heard in sometime and Keane clearly knows the players pretty well and his defence that McCarthy player in the West Brom game before his injury seems pretty solid.
Advert
There were reports that new Everton boss Ronald Koeman was looking to sell the Glasgow born midfielder but nothing came of the rumours and the former Wigan player stayed at Goodison Park.
