Lionel Messi is a footballing god, not one of those gods who creates angry reaction if anyone ever tries to replicate his image but on this occasion we'd accept some backlash. Someone in Argentina just made a statue that looks absolutely nothing like the Barcelona star.
We get that Messi is the kind of person you'd erect a statue of, although it should definitely be the kind of thing left till someone has retired otherwise you can get left with an awkward Thierry Henry at Arsenal type situation, but if you're going to do it make sure it bloody looks like the guy.
Seriously this is terrible, just judge it for yourself:
Messi isn't even using his left foot in the statue. Come on guys you're better than this!
