Leaked Manchester City 2020/21 Home Shorts Make The Kit Even Worse

The home shirt came in for a lot of criticism when it was leaked and now the shorts are getting the same treatment.

Manchester City fans have been left unhappy once again after more of their home kit for the 2020/21 season has been leaked.

Pep Guardiola's side are getting ready for the current season to start, and their first game back is one of the opening two fixtures, but with not much left to play for in the league some thoughts will already be on next season for City.

One thing that we apparently do know about next season is what the team's home shirt will look like, with leaked images not exactly going down well, and now the shattered glass shirt has been paired with plain navy shorts, in the latest leak, via Footy Headlines, and again fans aren't happy.

"It looks like Pajamas," claimed one fan, whilst another asked, "Why are they playing in swimming trunks bro," whilst others compared them to P.E shorts.

Another tweet said, "The person modelling em looks uncomfortable and he's paid to at least look like they are nice."

'Toggers1987' added, "Oh my god it gets worse! Have they picked them out of the sale basket at Sports Direct on Market Street and stuck on the badge!!"

Even Everton fan 'MoistMoise' wasn't happy with the shorts, saying, "I'm not even a city fan and I feel violated.

City fans have also seen what their third kit for next season will look like, with Puma giving the current defending Premier League champions a paisley design for their alternative shirt, a kit that certainly split opinion.

Guardiola's side have not put together too convincing a defence of their title this season, not helped by the fact Liverpool have been relentlessly brilliant.

Whatever kit they're wearing next season City will have to improve, if they're to win their title back, even if mathematically they can still defend it this season, but they may have to spend big once again to catch Jurgen Klopp's team.

City will get their league campaign back underway on June 17th when they face Arsenal, which is their game in hand over most of the league.

The game was the first to be postponed because of Covid-19, with the Gunners' players having to isolate having met the Olympiakos owner who then tested positive for the virus.

What do you think of City's kit for next season? Let us know in the comments.
