Aston Villa Fan Forced To Get Embarrassing Tattoo After Tweet

John Terry's arrival at Villa Park forced one very pessimistic fan into getting some rather embarrassing art work on his body.

There isn't a single one of us who hasn't said something we've come to regret on social media. But for one Aston Villa fan a tweet came back to bite him on his arse, well it wasn't quite a bite.

John Terry yesterday found himself a new club after being released by Chelsea on Saturday. It was always going to be weird to see the Chelsea legend in a different teams colours but the confirmation of it just proved that.

The former Blues captain now plays for Championship club Aston Villa and that feels utterly weird for several reasons. Firstly is JT not playing at Stamford Bridge, then the fact he's not in the Premier League and finally because he was initially expected to join Birmingham City.

There's still something very weird about this image. Image: PA

But the centre-back went against what everyone else thought and signed for Villa, which didn't work out for one fan who clearly never thought it would happen:

What tweet do you regret most in life? I bet it didn't cost you this much. Image: PA

Once the news came through Mr Mr Bear did try to get out of his 'punishment' by joking it wasn't really him who sent the initial tweet:

But then he ended up going through with the tattoo and he even managed to get a massive big into Birmingham City on the body art:

The abbreviation stands for "Shit on the City", referring to the football team rather than the city of Birmingham. A further shot to the fact that Harry Redknapp's side missed out on the signing for the 36 year-old after making a massive offer.

There's one fan with a vested interest in hoping the transfer works out.
