Alex Oxlade Chamberlain will have been enjoying his recent period of quiet after a start to the reason that got him noticed for all the wrong reasons. However when he wasn't visible to one young fan he got thoroughly mugged off.
When he started the season as an Arsenal player things didn't go well for Alex Oxlade Chamberlain. Playing right wing back he was part of the team that got hammered 4-0 by Liverpool. He remedied that by moving to the Reds.
But his first game as part of Jurgen Klopp's side saw them get a hammering of their own as Pep Guardiola's Manchester City put five past them without reply. Ox was roundly mocked.

Things weren't going well for the England international but things have got better recently and he's even had some game time in his preferred central midfield role so he's not in the limelight as much.
Not being in the limelight might mean that people don't always recognise you though and that's never more true than when you're dressed in disguise. The Ox went up to a young fan in the Liverpool store, dressed in a fake beard, and asked the kid to buy his shirt:

Whilst the player's retort about him being rated since he was 14 does put a question in the fans maths it's still not far from the truth considering how long he's been around and not quite reaching his potential.
As a group at Arsenal the younger players were often being talked about as 'for the future' but none of them ever really materialised into world class players, Theo Walcott being the prime example.

Hopefully for Chamberlain's sake he continues to get a bit of a run in Klopp's first team as a central midfielder, who knows 'one day' may be soon.
