Eden Hazard had contender for miss of the season as Real Madrid just managed to get past Galatasaray and get their Champions League campaign back on track.

Real had failed to win either of their first two games in Europe this season before heading to Turkey to face Galatasaray.

Thanks to Toni Kroos strike in the first half they took some of the pressure off Zinedine Zidane by winning 1-0 but Hazard still managed to create headlines for the wrong reason with an awful miss in front of an open goal.

Hazard hasn't had a good start to life in the Spanish capital since his move from Chelsea in the summer.

He cost Los Blancos €100 million and was the main Galactico signed as Florentino Perez hoped to reboot the team after a poor season in the last campaign.

The Belgian though has scored only once and put on one assist for his teammates in seven games in La Liga and the Champions League so far.

The 13 times European champions started this season's tournament with a loss to PSG before they came back from 2-0 down to draw with Club Brugge in Matchday Two.

Zidane and Hazard will be the most relieved men around after they held on to pick up all three points and put themselves on five points.

They remain four points behind Group A leaders PSG but should qualify for the knockout stages from here, taking some pressure off the manager.

Will Hazard find his form?
