For the first time in over 22 years, Chelsea suffered successive three-goal defeats after suffering humiliating losses to Bournemouth and Watford in the same week.

Chelsea levelled at Vicarage Road in the 82nd minute when a wonderful goal from Eden Hazard cancelled out Troy Deeney's first-half penalty.

But Watford scored three times through Daryl Janmaat, Gerard Deulofeu and Roberto Pereyra in the seven minutes to pile more misery and pressure on Antonio Conte.

One man who was again subject to criticism was captain Gary Cahill. Just days after Callum Wilson sad Bournemouth's game plan was to target the former Bolton man, he had another tough evening.

With him, they've won seven, drew five and won five out of seventeen in the Premier League, compared to eight wins and a draw in nine outings when he's not played.

Even though he has struggled, it would be unfair to pin all the blame on the England international.

However, with the dire run of form Chelsea are in, fans have been ripping into him on social media:

Is the criticism of Cahill unfair?
