Asamoah Gyan Is The Latest Player To Get An Embarrassingly Bad Statue

Can we put an end to statues of football players?

At this point, you'd think statues of football players would be banned given how shit they are been, but Ghana star Asamoah Gyan is the latest player to have one made.

In recent times, Cristiano Ronaldo, Diego Maradona and Michael Essien have all been commemorated with appalling sculptures and now Gyan, who had a brief stint in Sunderland in the Premier League, has joined the party.

The same fella who made the statue for former Chelsea midfielder Essien decided to do one for another legendary Ghanaian, with Gyan the Black Star's top scorer with 51 goals in 106 appearances.

But again, it's another shocker. It looks cheap, the ball isn't even a sphere and his legs look like they are about to cave in.

Someone really needs to stop this artist before he continues his shite statue collection by adding John Paintsil, Tony Yeboah, Abedi Pele and the Ayew brothers to the mix.

His latest work has been widely ridiculed at the same level as the life-sized Essien statue, which looks utterly terrifying.

It's probably best to pack it in now, isn't it? There can't possibly be a worse statue waiting in the wings.

Out of the four - Ronaldo's, Maradona's, Essien's and Gyan's, which is the worst?

Sound off in the comments.
