From the small Norweigan town of Bryne with a population of a mere 12,202 to performing in front of a 25,000-strong Dortmund ‘Yellow Wall’, Haaland has quickly affirmed himself as one of the most sought-after players in world football.
So far, during his short and illustrious career, the 21-year-old forward - widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world - has scored a staggering 113 goals for both club and country.
When delving into the statistics, by the time Lionel Messi was 21, the Argentine had only scored 51 goals, while Cristiano Ronaldo had only found the back of the net 36 times - and that should tell you all you need to know.
On FIFA 18, Haaland was a fresh-faced 17-year-old at Molde FK and was practically an unusable player on the game, with a woeful overall rating of just 58.
However, after a stellar campaign for the Norwegian outfit, the forward earned a move to the Austrian Bundesliga with Red Bull Salzburg.
Haaland’s move saw his overall boosted to 68, but after finding the back of the net an impressive 17 times inside 16 appearances, his rating went through the roof again after Dortmund came calling for the young prodigy.
Since his blockbuster move to the German giants, Haaland has since his FIFA rating soar after earning multiple upgrades on the game since his induction four years ago.
Now rated an overall of 88, Haaland has seen his pace, shooting and physical stats shoot through the roof, with the star now rated one of the best players to use on the game.
Should Haaland have a brilliant 2021/22 season with Dortmund, you can expect him to receive another boost to his overall rating in FIFA 23, however, he may very well be at a different club by then.
Haaland's addition to the game saw him be very popular for all the wrong reasons, as his individual defending stat of 18 was one of the lowest in the game.
During the game's cycle, he received an updated card following his transfer to RB Salzburg and went on to be included in a 'Team of the Week', resulting in Haaland being awarded a 76 rated gold in-form player card.
After moving to Dortmund, Haaland's performances continued to see him be rewarded with special cards in FIFA 20 including in-form cards, Bundesliga 'Player of the Month' (POTM) cards and a Bundesliga 'Team of the Season' (TOTS) card.
Following a stellar season in the Bundesliga, Haaland received eight special cards throughout FIFA 21, including two Bundesliga POTM two inform cards and a Bundesliga TOTS card.
Since his addition in the FIFA game series, Haaland's player rating has increased by 30 ratings from being a bronze, 58 overall rated base card to now being a rare gold, 88 overall rated card.
