Cristiano Ronaldo's Fantasy Premier League Price Revealed

Cristiano Ronaldo's Fantasy Premier League Price Revealed

Cristiano Ronaldo has returned to the Premier League with Manchester United and fans will be rushing to add him to their FPL teams.

Cristiano Ronaldo's move back to Manchester United was confirmed on Tuesday, and now Fantasy Premier League players can sign the forward.

Ronaldo's move to United came about on Friday morning, after a frantic period that saw everyone expecting him to go to their local rivals Manchester City before a quick switch, thanks in part to Rio Ferdinand's intervention.

Fans of the club will mostly be happy to see the 36-year-old back at Old Trafford, having won three Premier League titles and the Champions League in his first stint and gone on to be even more successful whilst being away.

Whilst opposition fans won't be as happy to see their team have to take on one of the best players of all time, they might at least be looking forward to adding him to their FPL sides.

The official Twitter account confirmed that he's now for sale but you will have to find some space in the budget, as he's going to cost £12.5 million.

With his price set so high, it means that no one on the game is worth more than CR7, with only Liverpool forward Mohamed Salah, who is classified as a midfielder, costing the same.

Tottenham Hotspur's Harry Kane is the only other striker above £12 million, coming in at £12,3 million, with Ronaldo's fellow countryman and teammate Bruno Fernandes costing £12.1 million.

As well as players of the regular game, it could be a big week for anyone whose started the season badly in their draft league, with the new United man soon becoming available.

Those bottom of the table will be able to bring in the five time Ballon d'Or winner on the upcoming waiver with no competition. Proving sometimes it's good to start the season badly, just not for Arsenal unfortunately for them.

Ronaldo's move back to United was first confirmed on Tuesday morning by Juventus, who sent a farewell to the striker who'd finished as Serie A top scorer last season, despite the club's troubles in the league.

United then officially announced they'd signed Real Madrd's all time top scorer and the forward then posted his own emotional message.

In that message, the Portugal forward paid tribute to former United boss Sir Alex Ferguson, who he has kept a strong connection with in the 12 years since leaving the club, saying 'P.S This one is for you.'
