The Portuguese phenomenon, who joins the red side of Manchester from Juventus, has been open about his hopes for his eldest son to follow in his footsteps.

Cristiano Jr has been training with the youth academy at Juventus after his dad made the move to the Serie A in 2008 and he boasts a remarkable goalscoring record as well.
The youngster, who turns 12 next June, has quickly proved his own talent that made his father a modern-day legend.
Just after his ninth birthday, Cristiano Jr scored four times on his eagerly anticipated Juve debut in 2018, according to Tuttosport.

And later that season, the youngster - cheered on by his dad in the stands - scored seven in a single half against CS Martimo, says AS.
When delving into his statistics at the Old Lady's youth set-up, the 11-year-old scored a staggering 58 goals inside just 28 games, adding a further 18 assists in his first season for the under-9s team. Like father, like son, eh?

Ronaldo's move to United, which was confirmed on Deadline Day, could pave the way for his talented son to join the academy with Wayne Rooney’s son Kai (11) having recently signed with the club.

Who is Cristiano Ronaldo's mother?
Cristiano Ronaldo Jr is the son of Manchester United and Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo.

He was born in the United States, with the footballer having full custody of the boy. His mother has never been publicly identified.
In 2015, Ronaldo was interviewed by Jonathan Ross where he made a statement about the identity of his son’s mother.
“Junior doesn’t know who his mother is, but don’t make a problem out of it,” Ronaldo stated.
“I’m not gonna lie to Cristiano because he deserves to know the truth, but I don’t want to tell the truth because people want me to do it.”

The budding footballer, however, now seems to also be raised by Ronaldo's partner, Georgina Rodriguez.
The family often attend trips and holidays altogether, seeming to embrace their blended family.
The pair welcomed their first child together on 12th November 2017, Alana Martina, who is now aged four. Meanwhile, Ronaldo was already father to Ronaldo Jr.
The couple are also parents to twins Eva and Matteo, also aged four, who were reportedly born via surrogate in the US.
Now, Rodriguez and Ronaldo are expecting two more babies to add to their family, with the model announcing she was pregnant with twins in October 2021.
