Chelsea are prepared to “accelerate” their plans to snap up rising Monaco midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni ahead of Juventus, according to stunning reports.
Tchouameni arrived at Monaco in 2020 from Ligue 1 club Bordeaux and has made 55 appearances for his current side.
The 21-year-old midfielder, who has been capped three times for France, has scored once in 10 appearances for Monaco this season.

Tchouameni’s development at Monaco has already attracted the interest of Europe’s top clubs, including Chelsea, Juventus and Manchester United.
Journalist Niccolo Ceccarini has claimed that Juventus and Chelsea are prepared to battle it out in their bid to land the France international.
According to Ceccarini (as per Sport Witness), Juventus believe their squad is ‘incomplete’ and the club’s hierarchy is pushing to ‘satisfy’ manager Massimiliano Allegri.
Despite Tchouameni being considered as a ‘perfect’ fit for the Old Lady, Chelsea have a ‘very attractive proposal’ to help them hijack Juventus’ move for the Monaco player.

“The [Juventus] squad is incomplete, and especially in the midfield, we need a further addition of quality, able to make the team change gear,” Ceccarini wrote for Tuttomercatoweb.

“The process of generational change has begun. The operation Locatelli goes in this direction, and now Juventus must look for a young, strong profile that can give a great perspective.
“In short, the objective is to try to satisfy Allegri, even if it’s never easy to intervene in January. However, the Bianconeri have already put a couple of players in their sights who could be truly ideal.
“The first target is Aurelien Tchouameni, a 2000 Monaco player who is already showing his qualities. In short, a player who would be perfect.
“Tchouameni is currently a track to be monitored with great attention even if Juventus must beat a great competition, in particular, that of Chelsea, who [are] ready to accelerate for the jewel of Monaco with a very attractive proposal.”

Chelsea have also been heavily linked with United target Declan Rice, with Thomas Tuchel keen to reinforce his midfield options.
Tuchel strengthened the Chelsea midfield in the summer with the acquisition of Saul Niguez from Atletico Madrid, with the option to make the move permanent.
