John Terry Joins Twitter And Immediately Destroys Fan With One Of The Most Brutal Responses Of All Time

The Twitter user admitted that he was not expecting to receive a "belting response" from former Chelsea and England captain John Terry.

Chelsea legend John Terry has arrived on Twitter and made an immediate impression after ruthlessly tearing apart a fan with a savage tweet.

The 40-year-old former Chelsea and Aston Villa captain announced on his Instagram Stories that he had signed up to Twitter.

Terry, who later changed the username on his unverified Twitter account, received a “warm welcome” from former England cricketer Kevin Pietersen.

Pietersen tweeted: “A warm welcome to a captain who would have laughed his head off at how poor Man Utd are!

“Welcome to [Twitter] [John Terry]!”

Twitter user David wasted no time in firing a brutal dig at Terry by replying to Pietersen’s tweet with the suggestion of making “sure [the] wife [doesn’t] follow him.”

However, it appeared that Terry was ready to fight fire with fire and destroyed David with a savage response.

The former England skipper tweeted: “Your [sic] safe David, just seen yours on your account.”

David hilariously accepted that Terry had truly buried him with a “belting response,” but the Chelsea legend decided to have the final say on the matter.

“She can’t be that bad [as] she doesn’t even make it on your Twitter account,” Terry wrote.

Terry was infamously thrust into the limelight during the fallout of his relationship with former Chelsea and England teammate Wayne Bridge after his alleged affair with Vanessa Perroncel.

The former Villa assistant head coach was granted a super-injunction by the High Court in 2010 over his alleged four-month affair with Perroncel, who was the former partner of Bridge.

However, the super-injunction was lifted and Terry and Perroncel were placed at the centre of attention among the frenzied press coverage of their alleged affair.

Perroncel, who had a son (Jaydon) during her four-year relationship with Bridge, has vehemently denied that the affair took place with the former Chelsea star.

Terry was stripped of the England captaincy by former Three Lions manager Fabio Capello in 2010 due to the scandal involving Perroncel.

The Chelsea legend, who was reinstated as England captain in 2011, would play against former teammate Bridge in 2010 during an infamous clash.

Bridge refused to shake Terry’s hand ahead of the start of Manchester City’s match with Chelsea at Stamford Bridge.
