Brentford star Ivan Toney compared playing against Manchester City to year 11 students stealing the ball off a younger year group.
Toney played the full game against City at the Brentford Community Stadium, where the champions won 1-0 courtesy of a Phil Foden strike in the first half.
City had 76% possession en route to a tenth consecutive win in the league and are now eight points clear at the top of the table.
Brentford gave a good account of themselves but City just had that different level of quality.

And Toney, who has come from the lower echelons to the Premier League, summed it up with a hilarious post-match tweet.
"Not the best kick about year 11s Stole our ball," Toney wrote.
"But we go again next year. Fans were behind us right till the end. Happy new year everyone stay safe. @BrentfordFC.
For large spells Brentford could not get the ball off Pep Guardiola's side and the visitors could have scored more.

The Bees did have their moments, however, and had one cleared off the line by Joao Cancelo after a bit of chaos in the box.
Toney was involved and the former Newcastle United striker also had quite the battle with City skipper Fernandinho.
The veteran Brazilian left one on the 25-year-old when he kicked the ball away and he then returned the favour shortly after.

Toney appeared to aim a stamp on Fernandinho but VAR did not check the incident and he escaped any form of punishment.
