Brazil's Insane Squad Depth Is Proof They're Going To Dominate This Year's World Cup And Beyond

They'll take some beating.

Brazil will be rocking up to this year's World Cup with one of the best squads in international football and they're favourites to win the whole thing.

Tite's side went unbeaten in CONMEBOL qualifying and finished their campaign with a whopping 45 points.

Brazil reached the Copa America final last summer but were beaten by Argentina, meaning they'll be hungry to win this winter's tournament in Qatar.

A quick look at the depth Selecao have explains why bookies expect them to take home their sixth World Cup and first since 2002.

In net they have the choice of Alisson or Ederson, with both goalkeepers duking it out at the top of the Premier League with Liverpool and Manchester City respectively.

Alisson is the one who regularly starts but Ederson is without a doubt the strongest number two.

Dani Alves has had the right-back spot on lock for for 16 years with 122 appearances in his decorated career. Danilo is probably waiting for the day he retires.

Marquinhos and captain Thiago Silva are solid at the back as is Eder Militao, with all three men battling it out to start on a regular basis.

Left-back could be the weakest position, but it still boasts Alex Telles and Alex Sandro who star for Manchester United and Juventus.

If you thought defence was impressive, wait until you see the midfield. It's next level.

Casemiro and Fabinho offer the same issue Alisson and Ederson do - they're both so good and deserve regular playing time.

That means further forward you'd be sacrificing a number from Philippe Coutinho, Fred, Bruno Guimaraes, Arthur and Lucas Paqueta, who doesn't find himself on the graphic.

On the left are Neymar and Vinicius Jr, although Neymar often shifts centrally to accommodate Vincius.

Good luck Tite. You'll need it.

Gabriel Martinelli made his debut during the most recent international break and will be hoping to get minutes.

Over on the right are Ajax starlet Antony and Leeds United talisman Raphinha, both of who have been linked with big club transfers this summer.

Up front is the easy task of Gabriel Jesus or Roberto Firmino. We may have been lying when we said easy...

Brazil will be in Group G alongside Serbia, Switzerland and Cameroon.

Their first game will be against Serbia on November 24.
