The Germany Squad Left Out Of The Confederations Cup Is Outstanding

Germany have named seven uncapped players ahead of the summer tournament

Germany have left out a who's-who XI ahead of the Confederation Cup later this summer.

Joachim Low named his squad and rested some key players in the process while selecting seven uncapped players.

Speaking about his selection, Low said the following, "We want those who will be with us to learn our ideas, our mechanisms, train with us. That is the aim. To bring them a bit further towards world level," via BBC.

Though the 23-man squad does feature high-profile names and Premier League regulars in Manchester City's Leroy Sane, Liverpool's Emre Can and Arsenal's Shkodran Mustafi, among others.

But while those names are included as well as Julian Draxler and Julian Brandt, to name but a few, Germany have left out an outstanding XI.

From Maneul Neuer and Mats Hummels to Mesut Ozil and Thomas Muller. Time to gawk - check it out below:

World Champions Germany open their campaign against Australia on the 18th June in Sochi. Followed by games with Chile and Cameroon.

While the other group consists of Russia, New Zealand and Portugal.
