If Manchester City are to defend their Premier League title, for the first time, then a lot of it will be down to the incredible form of Raheem Sterling however Dean Saunders would rather have Leroy Sane in his Team of the Year.
It's mid March which means we've well and truly reached what is commonly referred to as the 'business end of the season' and so we start to think of the Player of the Year and Team of the Year awards.
The Premier League trophy is going to be a straight battle between Manchester City and Liverpool, now that Spurs have dropped completely out of contention.
All the end of the season awards are likely to come from those three clubs and the Team of the Year will be full of them.

One player who most fans would have in their team would be Raheem Sterling. The City forward has scored 15 goals and assisted nine in the Premier League this season, putting him level with Sergio Aguero, Mohamed Salah, and Eden Hazard on goals contributed to.
However despite that Dean Saunders, speaking on TalkSPORT, says that he would have Sterling's teammate Leroy Sane in his frontline instead:
Saunders accepts that Sterling has improved a lot under Pep Guardiola and didn't even give a reason as to why he'd pick Sane ahead of the Englishman.

It's not to say the German hasn't had a good season for Guardiola's table toppers but he's only scored eight goals and has assisted nine, the same as Sterling.
Mo Salah's season, and recent form, makes him an interesting pick. The Egyptian is the league's second top scorer but he's only scored one goal in eight appearances.
If the rest of the remainder of the season continues like this for him then he could be overtaken at Liverpool by teammate Sadio Mane who is just one goal behind.
