Renown French outlet, L'Equipe, have unveiled their best Under-21's XI of 2016. The players who are featured were born on 1995 or after - feel old? - while still being eligible to run out for the under-21's.
2016 has been the year of breakout stars with budding talents rising to prominence following their exploits in their respective leagues.
From AC Milan's 17-year-old starlet Gianluigi Donnarumma who is expected to become the face of the fallen European giants as well as the successor to legendary Italian stopper Gianluigi Buffon.
To club colleague Alessio Romagnoli who is already attracting plenty of interest from Chelsea, alongside Valencia's José Luis Gayà and Bayer's Jonathan Tah.

Arsenal's Hector Bellerin completes the back four. Cross-town neighbours Spurs' Dele Alli also makes the XI in midfield joined by Bayern pair Joshua Kimmich and Renato Sanches with PSG's Adrien Rabiot.
Man City's Gabriel Jesus and Dortmund's Ousmane Dembele spearhead the attack with Man United duo Anthony Martial and Marcus Rashford touted for ones to watch.
