The FIFA 22 Ratings Of Arsenal's £150m Signings Have Been Revealed And They Make For Grim Reading

The FIFA 22 Ratings Of Arsenal's £150m Signings Have Been Revealed And They Make For Grim Reading

Some of these FIFA 22 ratings will not go down well with Arsenal fans.

Following an eye-watering £150m spending spree this summer, the FIFA 22 ratings of Arsenal’s new signings have been revealed - and they make for grim reading.

During this summer’s transfer window, Arsenal’s lucrative dealings has seen their squad become one of the most expensively assembled in world football, however, Mikel Arteta’s side have yet to prove value for money.

After an abysmal start to the new Premier League season, EA Sports have added more fuel to the fire after revealing the controversial ratings of Arsenal’s new pricey recruits.

Notable admissions at the Emirates include defender Ben White, attacking midfielder Martin Odegaard and goalkeeper Aaron Ramsdale, with the trio setting the Gunners back around £104m.

Aside from Odegaard's FIFA rating of 82, the rest of the pack have been neglected when it comes down to their in-game statistics.

The Gunners’ first signing saw them bring in Nuno Tavares from Benfica, but the Portuguese left-back has been dealt a big blow after securing a rating of just 70.

Arteta then signed midfielder Sambi Lokonga from Anderlecht for a fee of £18m, however, his rating of just 73 makes the price paid seem laughable.

Most incredibly of all, the Gunners prised defensive stalwart White away from Brighton & Hove Albion in a deal that made him their third-most expensive arrival of all time.

The England star, though, has failed to impress EA and will start the game with a rather average 76 rating - not something you would expect to see from a £50m signing, that’s for sure.

Among other arrivals, EA gave new shot-stopper Ramsdale an average 77 rating, while Takehiro Tomiyasu was not too far behind with another basic rating of 75.

The Gunners highest-rated asset remains Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang, although his rating has dropped from 87 on FIFA 21 to 85 on this edition.

The plethora of signings comes as Arteta looks to rebuild on the squad that failed to secure a spot in a European competition.

However, for you Career Mode fans out there, don’t hold your breath on securing European qualification with Arsenal, especially with these type of ratings.
