Another Manchester United Player Wants To Follow Anthony Martial Out Of The Club

Another Manchester United Player Wants To Follow Anthony Martial Out Of The Club

Martial looks set to exit Old Trafford and he isn't the only one who won't stick around for the Ralf Rangnick revolution.

Ralf Rangnick will be starting his first transfer window as Manchester United with two players wanting to leave the club in January.

Rangnick has started his time as interim boss at United to much praise, with the team already looking like a whole new set up under the German.

He is only in charge of the team for six month initially, and will then become the club's consultant for two years after, unless things change before the summer.

However he is expected to get some funds in the summer and could boost them by selling up to six players, with Anthony Martial amongst those linked with an exit.

Reports have claimed the Frenchman is ready to leave Old Trafford and now another player also wants to join the former Monaco forward in exiting.

Andreas Pereira has been on loan at Flamengo this season and the Brazilian midfielder revealed he wants to remain with the club after his temporary spell.

"My wish was always to stay here at Flamengo, the 25-year-old told ESPN, "And now we’re going to do everything.

"We’ll talk to president Landim and Marcos Braz to make this possible."

Flamengo fans might be wondering if they want to see the loanee stay at their club, after his mistake cost them in the Copa Libertadores final.

The Brazilian side took on Palmeiras, in just the fourth all Brazil final in the competition's history, and, after Gabriel Barbosa's second half equaliser, Flamengo took the defending champions into extra time.

With just five minutes of the extra 30 gone, Pereira attempted a back pass to his goalkeeper but messed up his touch and let Deyverson run on unopposed to win the competition back-to-back.

The midfielder did admit he's hoping to make it up to the team, "It was a remarkable day for me, emotional. The Nation hugged me after what happened I am eternally grateful for that.

"Of course, I have a feeling that I owe the fans a title. As I told them, you can count on me, I'll do my best so that next year we can come out with those titles there."

Martial's agent Philippe Lamboley also confirmed his client wants to leave the club, telling Sky Sports, "Anthony wishes to leave the club in January."

"He just needs to play. He doesn't want to stay in January and I will speak to the club soon."
