The Bayern Munich and Canada speed demon is an avid FIFA player and regularly goes live on his channel thatboydavies19 to his 127,000 followers.
On Thursday, as well as playing Ultimate Team, the 20-year-old started opening a load of packs using FIFA points.
And he ended up packing 93-rated Messi, the highest-rated player on the game ahead of Davies' club teammate Robert Lewandowski.
After Messi's card popped up his reaction was utterly priceless, with Davies letting out a deafening scream before excitedly chanting Messi's name.

Alphonso Davies... Playing games like every other fan... Like he didn't dribble past Messi a few months ago https://t.co/Polq8kkWlN— mirtazapine (@Sleeky_Prince_) October 21, 2021
The chances of getting the best player in the game are very slim, especially from a 7,500 pack, so it's understandable that Davies was on a completely different planet.
Plus, Messi is Davies' footballing idol and he had the chance to play against him in August 2020. Beforehand, during a phone call with his dad, the two started laughing in disbelief over his dream coming true.
Speaking to UEFA at the time, Davies said: "My mum called me yesterday and then my dad hopped on the phone, and he was like: 'So you're playing against your favourite player, I see.'
"And I went: 'Yeah.' And then we both started laughing on the phone. And honestly we couldn't even believe it, because he knows that I looked up to Messi when I was younger, and now playing against him, it's really nice."
Messi and Davies were on the same side of the pitch and fans have picked up on him having a picture in his flat of the six-time Ballon d'Or winner helping him up from the turf.
In that incredible 8-2 Champions League quarter final thrashing Bayern Munich dished out to Barcelona, Messi had fouled Davies before the exchange and he decided to get the image framed.

Davies actually asked Messi about swapping shirts but the Barcelona legend
"I asked for it [Messi's shirt]," he revealed.
"But I think he was a little bit upset. Next time, maybe."
