Despite being held a year later than originally planned, Euro 2020 is finally here - with Turkey and Italy locking horns in the opener.
Italy will have home advantage against the Turks as Rome plays host for the first game of the contest - and both will be hoping to continue their fine form from qualifying in the competition proper.
Along with Switzerland and Wales, the two sides are in Group A of the tournament in which 24 of Europe's best sides will clash across the continent.
Italy have come out on top eight times against Turkey in their last 11 previous meetings, with the other three games resulting in draws.
