Reigning Premier League champions Manchester City travel to a new-look Tottenham Hotspur on Sunday - with Harry Kane likely to be the topic of pre-match talk.

Kane, last season's Golden Boot winner, has publicly stated his desire to leave Spurs and it is unlikely that he will be involved this weekend having only just returned to training.

Pep Guardiola and his star-studded side will be looking for a fourth Premier League title in five seasons after a resounding success in the previous campaign.

Spurs will also need to be wary of the fact that City acquired Jack Grealish - one of the hottest talents in European football right now - from Aston Villa for a club record fee of £100m.

The Citizens will be eager to get their latest title defence off to a winning start after Kelechi Iheanacho's late penalty saw them beaten 1-0 by Leicester City in the Community Shield at Wembley Stadium last weekend.

Ahead of the game, our tipster Robert Mann takes a look at some of the best bets from Tottenham Hotspur vs Manchester City to get your teeth stuck into.

Spurs Vs Manchester City betting tips & predictions

Tottenham Hotspur are 9/2 to win, with Manchester City priced at 3/5 to come away with the victory. A draw is priced at 3/1.

Prediction: 1-2 (13/2)

To win and both teams to score: Manchester City (5/2)

Tottenham will most likely be without Kane, however, Son Heung-min will be available in a forward position and should feel confident after a recent friendly victory over north London rivals Arsenal.

There should be goals this in this one, but Spurs' defensive worries won't be resolved overnight and, for that reason, we're backing City to come away with all three points.

To be booked: Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg (5/2)

Tottenham will have to be wary of Grealish - the most fouled player in the Premier League last season.

One player who will have the task of doing everything he can to stop the £100m man is Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg - widely known for receiving a yellow card or two.

Ironically enough, the 26-year-old picked up a booking for a foul on Grealish during Spurs' 2-1 loss to Aston Villa at the back end of last season. It sounds like a given again, doesn't it?

First Goalscorer: Riyad Mahrez (9/2)

Riyad Mahrez has consistently improved during his time at City - and he's expected to play a big role again this season.

Up against Sergio Reguillon this weekend, he will look for space behind the Spurs left-back, which could lead to a few opportunities on goal for Mahrez.

We're backing him to draw first blood, too.

Tottenham Hotspur team news

It remains to be seen if Kane will play against the team desperate to sign him in a deal that would smash the British transfer record.

New signing Bryan Gil has trained with Spurs this week following Spain's run to the gold medal match at the Tokyo Olympics and is in line to start his first game for the club.

Meanwhile, fellow new signing Cristian Romero is doubtful after he sustained a knock at the Copa America with Argentina.

Manchester City team news

As for City, they are set to remain without Kevin De Bruyne (ankle) and Phil Foden (foot), with Guardiola insisting that both midfielders will be out for some time.

Meanwhile, Grealish will be pushing to make his maiden start for the club after a 25-minute second-half cameo at Wembley, though, another substitute role looks likely.
