Romelu Lukaku could play for Chelsea in the UEFA Super Cup final next week, with reports suggesting that his £100m transfer will be completed within the next 48 hours.
Chelsea will take on Villarreal in next week's coveted Super Cup final, and Blues head coach Thomas Tuchel will be keen to play Lukaku with his new team-mates ahead of the new Premier League season.
The Belgian powerhouse, widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world, is said to be close to returning to Stamford Bridge, but when exactly will the deal go through?
Well, according to journalist Kristof Terruer, Chelsea's plan is to "get the deal done over the next two to three days" - meaning he would be eligible to play in next Wednesday's final.

Seven years after selling him to Everton, the Blues look on course to smashing the British transfer record to sensationally re-sign Lukaku from Serie A champions Inter Milan.
The 28-year-old has told Inter to let him leave the the San Siro in order to complete the move back to west London - almost a decade later since joining as a fresh-faced 18-year-old.
So far, Chelsea have so far seen two bids knocked back for the star striker - the last valued at £85m - which included full-back Marcos Alonso as part of the deal.

Lukaku, who moved to Inter from Manchester United, did not enjoy the greatest of spells at Old Trafford.
Since then, however, the Belgian has established himself as one of Europe's best strikers, netting 47 goals in just 72 appearances for the Serie A giants. But will he replicate that same form in a Chelsea shirt?
