Manchester City could see a number of existing first-team players leave the club once they complete the signing of Jack Grealish from Aston Villa.
Grealish is reportedly in Manchester today to finalise his move to the Sky Blues, with the reigning Premier League champions set to pay a British transfer record fee of £100m.
And in order to make room for the highly-rated 25-year-old England international, one City player, in particular, could be pushed out of Pep Guardiola's star-studded starting line-up.
According to The Athletic, Guardiola will see Grealish as a prime candidate to enter City's centre-midfield rotation, in competition with the likes of Ilkay Gundogan.

Their report also suggests that Bernardo Silva could be a transfer casualty, too, a departure which would both make room for Grealish and a return on their eye-watering £100m investment.
Given that Grealish is capable of playing in central positions or on the wide flank, it has been hotly-debated as to where he will fit in Guardiola's talented side.
With both skillsets in his locker, he would be a direct threat to someone like Silva, who has also featured across both positions in recent seasons.
City are also the frontrunners to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane should he leave the north London outfit this summer.

Following his involvement with the Three Lions at this summer's European Championships, Kane was due back for pre-season training with Spurs on Monday after being granted extra time off.
The wantaway forward, widely regarded as one of the best in the world, failed to show up for training after being forced to quarantine following a holiday in the Bahamas.
Could the Etihad Stadium be his next destination? Only time will tell.
