Harry Kane and Jack Grealish have spoken of their "connection" with one another - as the pair continue to be heavily linked with a move to Manchester City.

The duo will link up during Euro 2020 as England bid to win their first international trophy since 1966 - with both rumoured for big-money moves this summer.

And Kane and Grealish since opened up on their connection with each other, as City ramp up their pursuit of the two Three Lions stars.

Wantaway Tottenham Hotspur striker Kane, who looks a prime replacement for City's already-departed Sergio Aguero, has hinted that he would "relish the chance" to play alongside Grealish for club, as well as country.

"I love Jack, just love Jack as a player - fantastic," Kane told Gary Neville on The Overlap YouTube channel.

"From when he came in and I started training with Jack, we just had a real connection.

"He sees the game a lot how I see it in terms of how he passes, how he moves, always looking forward, always rapping balls in, trusting your team-mate to have the touch and be able to handle it."

City are reportedly hoping to make Aston Villa captain Grealish the most expensive English player ever by tabling a £100m bid this summer.

And in music to Man City chiefs' ears, Grealish echoed Kane's comments in a recent interview, admitting that he loves playing alongside the England frontman.

"I don't think there is anyone better in the world to play with in front of you than Harry Kane," he told the Guardian.

"I feel we have a good connection in training and in games.

"I just go out there to try to perform and try to create that one piece of magic."

There are four City and four Manchester United stars who have been selected in Gareth Southgate's 26-man squad.

And Glenn Hoddle expects Kane and Grealish to be involved in transfer discussions with their England teammates at the tournament this summer.

"I don't think it would go on in front of the management, but I'm sure it goes on," the former Three Lions boss said at a Betfair event.

"I remember talking to Ray Clemence as a player, trying to get him to come down to Tottenham from Liverpool.

"So yeah, it goes on, I can tell you that."
