Fantasy Premier League Tips And Transfers For Gameweek 36

With the season coming to a close, we take a look at plans for the reduced Gameweek 36 and beyond.

The conclusion of the 2020/21 season is just two weeks away and Fantasy Premier League managers will be wanting to end their campaigns as strongly as possible.

There may be six matches remaining in Gameweek 35, but managers should already be planning for the next round of fixtures.

Once the season finishes it will be a great moment to reflect on the highs and lows, good decisions and bad decisions, of a league campaign like no other.

Four sides are set for a Blank Gameweek 36, with a number of the most popular players in the game affected.

In defence, Manchester United pair Luke Shaw (£5.5m) and Aaron Wan-Bissaka (£5.7m) are among the five most-owned players.

Their team-mate Bruno Fernandes (£11.5m) has the highest ownership of any player in the game, found in 56.8 per cent of squads.

Meanwhile, Chelsea's Mason Mount (£7.3m) and Leicester City forwards Kelechi Iheanacho (£6.3m) and Jamie Vardy (£10.3m) are held by at least 20 per cent of managers ahead of their respective blanks.

With the season coming to a close, we take a look at plans for the reduced Gameweek 36 and beyond.

Dominic Calvert-Lewin (Everton)

Price: £7.6m

Points: 157

Just in time to cement his place in England's Euros squad, Dominic Calvert-Lewin has rediscovered his early-season form with two in his last two.

That all bodes well for a meeting with relegated Sheffield United, who have conceded ten in their last five games.

Lucas Digne (Everton)

Price: £6.2m

Points: 102

Back to Goodison Park, and although Everton's poor home form is a slight concern, a clean sheet against bottom-of-the-league Sheffield United is not too much to ask.

Lucas Digne carries a threat going forward too, of course, and should be supplying Calvert-Lewin.

Raphinha (Leeds United)

Price: £5.4m

Points: 119

Raphinha's recent injury deprived us of one of the best budget midfield assets this season, but the Leeds United winger returned last week and immediately registered an assist in the win over Tottenham Hotspur.

Marcelo Bielsa's side have typically punished teams like Burnley - their next fixture - this season.

Riyad Mahrez (Manchester City)

Price: £8m

Points: 134

With their Champions League final secure and the game itself two weeks away, Manchester City can ease off on the rotation.

Riyad Mahrez has not played a minute of their last two league outings, making him a powerful differential for the trip to Newcastle United.
