Chelsea are primed to smash the British transfer record fee for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland this summer - if the German club reject their Tammy Abraham swap proposal.
According to reports, the Blues are believed to be weighing up the idea of offering their out-of-favour striker Abraham, plus cash, in a deal for Haaland.
But with the offer unlikely to satisfy the German outfit, Roman Abramovich could instead table a whopping £154.5m bid for the Norweigan talisman.
Chelsea on the hunt for a new striker comes as no surprise, especially with Timo Werner and Tammy Abraham firing blanks since Thomas Tuchel's introduction as head coach.

Tuchel made an immediate impact since taking over at Stamford Bridge from Frank Lampard back in January - eventually going on to win the Champions League final over Manchester City.
However, Tuchel has lacked an out-and-out striker and multiple reports suggest that signing a new forward this summer is his top priority.
According to Marca, Abramovich is expected to back Tuchel and it appears even more likely as though he's ready to make a teasing offer to sign Haaland.
But if Dortmund reject the Abraham-plus-cash deal to sign Haaland - widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world right now - then at least £154.5m will have to suffice.

That is the fee said to be the price Dortmund have demanded should any team try and prise the 20-year-old away this summer.
It's been reported that Haaland's release clause, which becomes active in 2022, is in the region of £68m.
And although Chelsea appear to be in the driving seat to claim the young forwards' signature, they face stern competition from leading contenders in the Premier League and La Liga.
