Harry Redknapp’s Son Jamie Wants Him Booted Out Of ‘I’m A Celeb’ First
Harry Redknapp's been winning the nation over with his appearance on I'm A Celebrity, with many viewers particularly full of praise for his devotion to wife Sandra.
The two have been married for an impressive 54 years, and have two sons together: former footballer Jamie, 45, and model Mark, 48 - the youngest of whom has now spoken out and said he wants his dad back from the jungle.
He told the Sunday Mirror: "I was actually really surprised when I found out he was going to be on it because he didn't tell me, I read it in the paper.
"He was like, 'If I had told you, you would have told me off'.
"I'm going to try and vote him out. I want to get him to come home and see my mum and get him out of there.
"My mum is more nervous than anything as she misses him whenever they are apart."
Harry has chatted about Sandra on the show, telling fellow campmates Fleur East and Sair Khan: "Even when I'm out I ring her 10 times a day.
"She's my life. I'm a bit scared, getting a bit older. I love her too much, if anything happened it would just kill me.
"We just get on so well, I only want to be with her. I can never wait to see her.
"Jamie says 'you've won the lottery'."
In another moment, Harry also said the only woman he wanted to see in a bikini was his wife - saying he wasn't interested in ogling at anyone washing in the iconic jungle shower.
"They certainly don't interest me," he said.
"There's only one woman I wanna see in a bikini in the shower and that's my wife."
Oh Harry, you bloody smooth operator, you.
Unfortunately for Jamie, it doesn't look like he'll be greeting his dad anytime soon - as Harry's currently the bookies' favourite to win, with Oddschecker putting the odds at 1/1 for a Harry Redknapp victory.
He's followed by actress Emily Atack, whose odds of winning have been placed at 8/1.
Jamie, on the other hand, has said he would 'never' do the reality show himself, because he likes privacy too much.
"I would never do that I'm A Celeb or any other kind of reality show," he said.
"It's not my thing. I like my privacy. I've got no problem with people doing it, it's just not for me."
Seems we're better off relying on Harry to win the Redknapp family the King of the Jungle crown, then...
